Today's outing

Last night, we met Diana and Todd from Nebraska.  We had been emailing back and forth for a while, but finally connected and had a nice dinner.  We walked to McDonalds to meet, as we both knew where it was.  No, we haven't gone there (yet).  We stopped at a newsstand on the way and purchased a Kyiv map, so we can find our way around.  We met, then went across the street for dinner. 

The place was more elegant than we originally expected.  We all felt WAY underdressed, and figured that's why they put us in a back corner table.  Dinner was very good.  We had a couple Obolon beers, which were pretty good. 

Today, we decided to eat the rest of the cooked chicken that we bought at the grocery store on Saturday.  It was still pretty good.  Then we went for a walk to Navodnyts'ky Park, on the Dnipro river.  It was a long walk, as it seemed like it was uphill both ways.  But, it was good to get out.  Other than that, we're pretty boring today.
